INTRODUCTION
In my view, under current perspectives, Human Teratology is the scientific descipline concerned with any agent or factor (teratogen) that can negatively impact human development (physiology or morphogenesis) before or after birth expressed as functional or structural anomalies (often as mental or structural anomalies). The nature of teratogens include factors that are: environmental (ecologic, pharmacologic, ...); genomic (cytogenetics, mendelian); and epigenetic (environmental factors impacting gene expression).

PROLEGOMENON and CAVEAT
The above are the main component of this DYSMORPHOLOGY COMPILATION. The emphasis is on visual images. The array of illustrated signs is limited. Those included are either relatively frequent or of particular prognostic importance. Signs that represent signals suggestive of specific dysmorphology syndromes are included. However, illustrated syndromes in subsequent sections are likewise limited. Please also note, that the contents are insufficient to guide diagnoses and therapies. Please consult reputable sources concerned with clinical implications of the mentioned clinical entities presented.
